Saying what you or someone else does for a living. Each profession has masculine and feminine forms — sometimes identical, often different.

French profession words have masculine and feminine forms. Some are identical (journaliste for everyone), some add -e (étudiant → étudiante), some change endings (acteur → actrice). Recognising the pattern means you can predict most of them. In this skill, each item shows you a person and you pick the right profession form. The verb (est) is given.
